From 2022, the instructional leader role will be known as Assistant Principal Curriculum and Instruction. The AP C&I supports teachers to implement research-based best practices so students can develop the foundational literacy and numeracy skills needed to confidently access outcomes across the curriculum. The AP C&I works alongside other executives to monitor student outcomes to inform future direction; coordinate differentiated professional learning for teachers including interventionists and School Learning Support Officers; and support families to be key partners in student learning.
