Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

"On behalf of our school community, I would like to welcome you and your family to Mount Warrigal Public School. With our school motto of "Aim higher" in mind, we strive to aim high in the pursuit of excellence for your child’s education. As a school collectively we aim to ensure our students are ‘Known, Valued and Cared for by all members of our school community.

We look forward to forging strong relationships with you and your child to provide the best possible outcomes socially, emotionally and academically. Here at Mount Warrigal Public School, we have a strong focus on child and family wellbeing to ensure we develop strong individuals who are well equipped for a changing world. Building positive self-esteem through strong partnerships with the community to work shoulder to shoulder to ensure all students have a strong foundation and world-class education.

Our teaching staff are committed to preparing students to be creative and critical thinkers for lifelong learning. The school’s teachers are professional, caring and committed to a broad and balanced curriculum across all key learning areas.

The school actively encourages parents to support teaching and learning programs and become involved in all aspects of school life. We have small but committed Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) and welcome new members to join. Teachers and parents are given regular opportunities to discuss student progress and to develop ways to further support the educational goals of their children.

I and the team here at Mount Warrigal Public School look forward to working with you and your child. If you wish to discuss the learning needs of your child, please contact the school office to arrange a meeting at your convenience."
